Keep in mind that author of this video and this channel is not responsible for any damages or issues brought to you by watching this video. This video shows how to properly overclock Intel Core i5 and Core i7 on p55 chipset motherboards. It explains some hardware termins as well. For example I used my friends EVGA p55 FTW when I was on vacation in Miami. By uploading this video I am using socket 1366 Intel core i7 930 that has some simularity with Intel i7 860 and same freqeuncy. Sorry on the background you can hear my friend sleeping, cause his room was very close and I have a good mic that picked up every single sound. Video explains the main keys for a stable overclocking for Intel Core i7 860 to bring it to a stable 3.8Ghz. However those technique can be used for Intel Core i7 870, 870k, 875k, and 880. You can also apply this technique to i5 any cpu as well. Important - before applying setting for overclocking frequency, apply first voltages, save and restart your computer. Then apply the increase of frequencies. keep in mind that it will work with any Core i7 860, 870, 870k, 875k,880, and I am not guaranteed you a stable frequency if you will overclock it higher, but 3.8 Ghz with those bios setting should be rock stable on those CPU`s. Keep in mind that if you will use Intel i7 870k or 875k series processor you can rich even higher stable frequencies, but for your start use this guide and then increase the frequency on your cpu if it will be stable at 3.8Ghz ...
