Here is another great restoration of a rare wagon. I haven't seen a 56 Chevy wagon in decades so I was delighted to see this extraordinary example. 1956 was another banner year for Chevy selling over one and half million units. There are three levels of 56 Chevys: the 150, the 210, and the Bel Air. All three had the 2 and 4 door sedans and all three had a station wagon. The 150 wagon was called the Handyman, the 210 had the Beauville, Townsman, and an upgraded Handyman, and the Bel Air had the Beauville and Nomad wagon. This example would cost around 82 and weighed 3506 lbs. Engine choices for all levels were the L-head 6, 235 / 140, V8's 265 / 162 - 170 with manual or Powerglide, and the 265 / 205 - 225 for all models. Perusing this wagon is eye candy for it is simply a beautiful restoration with a popular India Ivory over Nassau Blue paint. There were 10 solid color offerings and 14 two-tone offerings. All paint colors this year were exciting. ( Wish we could have such great color choices today ). But another feature here is the vintage vignette of fifties golf clubs, coolers, and picnic baskets plus a drive-in restaurant food tray holding vintage articles. It's a time machine! ( Two prior videos, cranking the engine to try to get oil pressure, and having it start on one side only, I did not post. ) Top end job on former single port, AS41 case, full flow oil filter system, doghouse oil cooler, dellorto 34FRD carbs. Had some issues during assembly, two cylinders shortened .010 to even out the deck clearance, flycut job gone wrong on one head ( .030 deep ) necessitated carving a huge volume out of the chambers with a die grinder to compensate. Deck clearance is .050 +/- 005, compression ratios all between 7.81 and 7.89 . Didn't split the case, but did replace the rod bearings, drilled the flywheel for eight dowels, drilled and tapped for full-flow.

This is a video showing my PS3 mod. It consist of using 2 Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus cooling fans and a Sunbeam Rheobus fan controller (all purchased from newegg). I used the factory mounting brackets for the back and had to fabricate my own which fits on top of the base for the Hyper 212's. They are bolted down using four 3/8" bolts & nuts. The fan controller is wired to the PS3 fan header so it doesn't take much to wire at all. On a scale of 1-10 this is about a 6 for difficulty. The most difficult part was making sure the mounting plate I made lined up perfectly with the existing holes in the motherboard. Hope you enjoyed this video & let me know what you think about it. Good thing about this value cooler is it covers the RAM with aluminum but none the less it is better than separate sinks. It would be great if other more expensive solutions were designed to cover the RAM at least instead of just the GPU also all VGA coolers should be powered from VGA board.(take note manufacturers) I like a quiet PC myself so I will probably connect it up to CPU fan header as it is controlled by a fan controller. My method of cooling was just not cutting it any more so I had to change it up. The x366 servers that I have were putting out way to much hot exhaust out the back at a much faster rate than my heat exhaust could handle. So I took off my home depot AC booster fans that I had for extracting heat and put my rack directly in front of the window. Now I have one box fan for intake of fresh air and another for fast heat exhaust. Problem solved with simple box fans, a low complexity method. The average room temps are around 68f/82f night/day, with consistent server fan speeds of 50-60%. Outside temps are around 64f/87f night/day. All this without the need of AC, just fresh outside air. Now I can run all my servers and not have to worry. Next I'm putting up a heat containment wall to separate the hot and cold air to make it a bit more efficient, especially for when summer time swings back around and I have to turn on the AC again. Wouldn't want the AC air to go out the back exhaust.

My homemade air conditioner run off 12 volt battery's, which are charged by my solar panels. Viewable in my other videos. When global warming (Summer) arrives I will retire my solar furnace and use my homemade AC. It uses eight 2 liter plastic pop bottles pre-frozen in the freezer. I plan on having a total of 24 bottles frozen so I can rotate them as needed. This unit is for the rec-room tv room and is limited by the length of the cord hooked to my battery's. I plan on making a AC model so I can cool the bedroom. Fan is a china built 12 watt 2 speed model maybe six inch's across. One 2 inch pvc fitting screwed into quarter inch plywood.
