Cleaning out the fans with a duster. The quality is pretty bad since I had to use my phone camera, but the amount of dust that came out was terrifying. You can't see it shooting out of the vents very well, but you can see when it starts to float in front of the camera. Doing this made a complete difference, idle and load temps went down by 15-20C. Before it was so bad, even watching a video on youtube would make the gpu vent rev up. If you've had your G73 for a few months and its heating up a lot, go down to Office Depot and buy a gas duster for 5 bucks and clean the vents. If you do this and it still doesn't help, you might need to repaste the cpu/gpu.
