Peltier cooled device for cooling the primary miror of my 12" newt. Still under development ;) One of the main causes for poor images with big newtonians is the boundary layer, the warm layer of air that sits righ above the primary mirror, a couple of degrees above the ambient temperature is enough for this to happen, so this is a simple and efective way of putting it in ambient temperature in a small amount of time. You'll get sharper planetary images using this method, that's for sure!!!
